Connection with Cohoes of Yesteryear

Take a glimpse of yesteryear through the Over the Falls Video as well as a collection of Cohoes-related photos and drawings from the early- to mid-1900's. Cohoes native Mike Pender -- the owner of this compilation -- has graciously agreed to share these images with the Friends of Cohoes Falls.

Falls View Park Opens for the 2013 Season

Falls View Park re-opened for the 2013 season on Wednesday, May 1. A celebration of the park opening was marked at the 2013 Falls View Park Arts & Music Festival held on Sunday, May 5. Brookfield teamed with the City of Cohoes School District for a student art show as well as musical performances from the high school’s AfterBeat select chorus. Local musician Frankie Lessard and Cohoes-based Back Beat also performed at the festival.
